 Trifolium reviewed United Guaranty's business goals, and subsequently designed a software tool that would automatically compare various mortgage loan and insurance options, and then recommend the best option for the borrower.
Since mortgage lenders often work outside the office, both a web and stand-alone version of the application was developed. As a bonus, the stand-alone version can be downloaded and used off-line without an Internet connection.
The stand-alone and web versions of the application share the same business logic so that United Guaranty only needs to implement changes in one, secure location.
